At MERCASUR S.L., the food processing and distribution company, we believe that the introduction and development of a Quality Control System is the vital cornerstone that will allow us to adapt our products to the needs and expectations of our clients. That is why, at MERCASUR S.L., we select raw materials based on the quality of the products. The key to correct dispatch and distribution resides in the professionalism our staff. In accordance with current legislation, we have a computerised system that ensures traceability of our products from the point of origin to dispatch. We also ensure the quality of our products with an exhaustive hygiene-sanitary control and supervision scheme, based on our APPCC (Analysis of Critical Points and Control) Manual. This is all certified via a system of analyses and tests carried out by an independent laboratory authorised by the Andalusian Government. Each member of the MERCASUR team is personally responsible for the quality of his or her work. The Head of Quality is in charge of ensuring application of our quality policy, setting goals, and internally supervising that the process is followed. The bases of our Quality Control System are: CLIENT SATISFACTION: through personalised, professional attention with emphasis on choosing the product most suitable for each need. We strive for client satisfaction with the ultimate aim of client loyalty. We achieve client satisfaction in two ways: 1) OUR PRODUCTS: the finest quality at the best price. We standardise quality through controls in the productive process and the raw materials used. 2) COMPETITIVENESS: we believe that an organisation focused on the highest levels of quality in service is essential. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: the organisation maintains a focus based on processes. We constantly revise these processes in our search for maximum quality products and services. In compliance with these principles, the Management of MERCASUR S.L. annually sets a series of clearly measurable Goals that are coherent with our Quality Policy and check that they are complied with at all times. Declaration of the Management The Management takes executive responsibility for developing the Quality Policy and communicating it to all levels of the organisation. In order to do this, Management will furnish the Quality Control System with the necessary means and make compliance with its application obligatory; this implies correct planning, application and upkeep at all human and productive levels.
